Ella Hound specializes in Japanese and other fabrics, as well as intricate and beautiful papers. Ella's shop will be closed through January for a wonderful reason--she's having a baby! Introducing the ETSY Supplies Street Team: Duet Supplies

This is the next in my series about the wonderful peeps of Team ESST. Today's topic is:

Duet Supplies is THE place to go if you are looking for ear wires. Duet has them in sterling silver, in copper, and in brass -- ready to match any metal you are using in your jewelry creations. She has them in different sizes and styles, from the classic French wires to beautifully rounded hoops. Ear wires come in packages of five or ten pairs, and are incredibly reasonably priced. She also carries some amazing wire wrapped beads.

She's currently taking holiday pre-orders, as she says here: "~*~*~*HOLIDAY PRE-ORDERS: We all get busy with holiday plans and activities around this time of year, and I am no different. Introducing the ESST Street Team: Doodles Mosaic Tiles

This is the next in my series about the wonderful peeps of Team ESST. Today's topic is:

Doodles Mosaic Tiles has a broad array of mosaic tiles for mosaic artists. Many of her tiles are clear, in a variety of patterns and sizes. However, she has lovely broken china tiles, glass globs, and holiday items. Fhe also carries neodymium magnets, and a wonderful clearance section (titled, amusingly, "Oops!") that almost seduced me into trying my hand at mosaics.

By far the most interesting part of her shop, though, are her custom made hand painted tiles. Whimsical, bright, and cheerful, these tiles would turn any mosaic art from humdrum to spectacular.

Destashing Diva has a funky shop, focused around sewing patterns and supplies. She's got 1980s and earlier patterns, a hefty chunk of sewing supplies, and cool fabric fat quarters and bundles, like this piece:
Her patterns are great for kids and adults. She even has some scrapbooking supplies -- fiber is fiber, after all, and many scrapbook embellishments use sewing notions.

Introducing the ESST Street Team: Dainty Pretty Crafts

This is the next in my series about the wonderful peeps of Team ESST. Today's topic is:

Okay,I admit it -- I have a bias toward paper crafts; I did bookbinding as a hobby for many years before being seduced by the lure of molten glass. Dainty Pretty Crafts has a wonderful shop. She sells card-stock paper pillow boxes in arrays of wonderful colors and prints. Her color and pattern choices range from the cute to the elegant and arty, as you can see here: . Every box is beautifully crafted, to boot, and at $1 a box, you can't go wrong.

Dainty Pretty Crafts also has fold-out pop up cards that are just exquisite. She has space in her shop for handmade envelopes, which, when she lists them, will be (I am sure) every bit as carefully crafted as her cards. She has gift boxes as well.

Introducing the ESST Street Team: Crostini VS

This is the next in my series about the wonderful peeps of Team ESST! MMMM, crostini were some of my favorite treats when I visited Rome, and so it is only fitting that Crostini*VS sells both vintage and some of my favorite supplies!

Crostini's shop announcement says that she is "Specializing in "hard-to-find" vintage papers and fabrics, fiber supplies, plus "Wicked Cool" project packs to jumpstart your own creative endeavors!" -- and it is true. Just check out some of the papers and fabrics she has! Of course, as an historian In Real Life, my attention was grabbed by her paper pack of vintage Boston photos and her 1981 continent maps. Since when was 1981 well over a quarter of a century ago? Wasnt' that when I entered college? But I digress.

Crostini's just starting out, so her shop is still small. But her offerings (which also include upcycled and handmade craft items) are, in her own words, wicked cool -- check her out! She's got 18 sales so far, so send some love her way.

Introducing the ESST Street Team: Crinoline Stash

This is the next in my series about the wonderful peeps of Team ESST! I'm back on a roll, and the next ON the roll is the lovely Crinoline Stash.

Crinoline Stash has a brightly colored stash of supplies. She says in her announcement, "I've got acrylic felt, shrinky dinks, fun beads, findings, and an eclectic mix of supplies!" And she's not lying. Looking through her shop is like looking at the most cheerful rainbow you can imagine. She has a lot of wonderful findings, including colorful jump rings for your chain maille needs. There's ribbons and cords and overall a riot of rainbow colors!

Crinoline also has a store for her own crafts, and uses many of her own supplies to make her goods--so check that out, too, if you want even more inspiration.

Introducing the ESST Street Team: Cocomo

This is the next in my series about the wonderful peeps of Team ESST! It's been over a month, and my poor teammates have been very patient. Here's introducing a team member with a fantastically funny sense of humor, Cocomo Mosaics.

Cocomo has mosaic art in several different styles, ranging from the lovely to the quirky. She has a wide assortment of finished tiles, from glass blob tiles, retro tiles, and flower tiles. My favorite section are the coolio tiles. These are just ...fun!

Introducting the ESST Team Members: CMKSculptures2

This is the next in my series about the wonderful peeps of Team ESST! Here's introducing a team member with a superb sense of color, CMKSculptures2.

SMK mostly sells mosaic art and kiln-fired tiles. Kiln-fired is the important part--CMK's materials are quality! And they are gorgeous, with a whimsical sensibility and a beautiful use of color and shade. SHe uses pale colors that flow into each other and are easy on the eyes. That sense of whimsy continues through to her hand0fired tiles in fun shapes--bees, palm trees, etc. If you do mosaic art and want some unique accent tiles, hop on over to CMK Supplies!

Introducting the ESST Team Members: Circle In the Sand

This is the next in my series about the wonderful peeps of Team ESST! Here's introducing a team member with a really unique shop, Circle in the Sand.

Okay, I was a young woman in the 1980's--remember the duck craze? Everything in the early eighties had ducks on it--shower curtains, porcelain dishes, coffee mugs (I still have one of those; odd to think that it is officially a vintage mug!), placemats, fireplace tongs (come to think of it, I still have those, too) ... you name it, if you could put a duck on it or shape it to resemble a duck, someone did. And then the fad passed and another popular theme took its place. But I remain a sucker for ducks, and Circle in the Sand's current avatar--a stuffed duck--had me from the get-go.

If it is country-themed, Circle in the Sand has it. From items for babies thorough buttons, cards and tags, craft and sewing supplies, fabric, gift bags, decor, and things for women only .... Circle has it all. Her tag line says that her shop is fun, and that's no lie. Even if you aren't into country cute, check out her vintage section--she has everything from curtain patterns to these elegant vintage earrings.

Introducting the ESST Team Members: Chloe Rose Designs

This is the next in my series about the wonderful peeps of Team ESST! Here's introducing a team member who sells lovely vintage cottage style items, Chloe Rose Designs..

Chloe's Rose designs has three main section in her shop: handmade, supplies, and vintage. The handmade section focuses on cottage rose pillows, all beautifully made with gentle ruffles and lovely forties floral prints. She's also got tags, both for weddings and a series from 1940s and 1950s children's books. They're really unique!

Her vintage section lists vintage knitting and tatting patterns, and her vintage items include straight peg clothespins--so hard to find these days! The middle section of the shop includes paper, collage, and game pieces.

At 119 sales, Chloe's Designs is just starting out on Etsy. Don't let that stop you (so am I!) from finding fantastic vintage finds here in this gently colorful store. On top of that, Chloe is taking part in the Christmas in July sale, and though it is August, there's still goodies on clearance. Come on and visit!

Introducting the ESST Team Members: Chez Michelle

This is the next in my series about the wonderful peeps of Team ESST! Here's introducing a team member with a really unique shop, Chez Michelle!..

Chez Michelle sells primarily suncatcher eyes. What is a suncatcher eye? You've seen them all your life--they're the remarkably brilliant eyes in your favorite stuffed animal. However, she doesn't have anything nearly as scary as Dr. Coppelius' long coat full of eyes. However, she does have eye pairs, clear pairs, colorful pairs, and truly beautiful pairs--none, however, will make you see an automaton as a live human :) Chez Michelle's are helpfully sorted by size, from 6mm to 20mm. You can also buy packs of assorted sizes, and you can even get kits to paint your own.

New to stuffed animal making? Chez Michelle has other cute options.

You can buy some darling hand-crocheted amigurumi animals, or even get the patterns to crochet your own. And, of course, you can pick up the all important eyes to stitch on at the same time!

Chez Michelle is located in Maine and has an impressive 670 sales. She's had some illness in the family (good thoughts, please!), but that's slowed her down only a little, and from the sales, it doesn't look as if her customers have any worries other than to send her well wishes. Stop by if you make stuffed animals ... or just love glassy, beautiful eyes.

Introducing the ESST Street Team: CharmingRose

This is the next in my series about the wonderful peeps of Team ESST! Here's another fantastic team member, CharmingRose.

CharmingRose sells .... beads! But her beads are different from anyone else's in the team so far. Like others, she has a very logical layout in her sections to help buyers navigate her shop. However, she has some very unique beads. There's a whole section of glass just from India, for example. She also has some beautiful shell beads, and an excellent section of charms and filigrees. Ribbon and other embellishments are next ... and boy, are they beautiful.

CharmingRose has over 200 sales, to some very happy people. Come join the crowd!

Introducing the ESST Street Team: ButtonHole

This is the next in my series about the wonderful peeps of Team ESST! Here's introducing The Button Hole.



ButtonHole's banner is so cute and well-done I had to reproduce it here! Like many supply sellers, ButtonHole carries both her eponymous product and practical small items made using that product. Most obviously, she has buttons -- lots of them! You can search by vintage grab-bag style, or by color / type. However, if you like buttons, and are up t your ears crafting your own stuff, you can pick up button-adorned items for yourself or your friends right here.

There's button magnets, and brooches, and cards / tags, all made with buttons! Perhaps the most clever items are her button bouquets. Real flowers are, of course, lovely--but for the crafter in your life, or the person allergic to plants, here's a bouquet sure to please.

Introducing the ESST Street Team: CarDon Creative Design

This is the next in my series about the wonderful peeps of Team ESST! Here's introducing one of our illustrious and hardowrking team leaders, CarDon Creative Designs..

CarDon Creative designs sells beads. Oh, woe, you say, I am so tired of bead shops! Well, first of all, this is a lampworking blog--you come here, you deal with it :) :) :) Seriously, even those jaded with numerous beads should take a look at CarDon's shop. Copper and vermeil beads are enjoying a resurgence in popularity, and CarDon has got them! Her beads are placed in sections by type, and she's got a wide variety. In addition to the copper beads, she has wooden beads, gemstones, corals, and mother-of-pearls. On top of all that, she's got findings, cord, chain, and ever. This shop is your one stop shopping for finding manufactured beads and the findings to put them together into something amazingly creative.

If you're fresh out of ideas, never fear -- she also has lovely jewelry, including hand-twisted elements. She's got over 1000 sales, too, so she's definitely doing something right.

Introducing the ESST Street Team: Black Star Beads

This is the next in my series about the wonderful peeps of Team ESST! Here's introducing Black Star Beads.

With 1323 sales as of the time I am writing (there's likely more by now) with 100% positive, BlackStar is a power seller for sure! You can see why when you visit her shop. She's got sensible categories that encompass both bead type (such as vintage metal, vintage glass, etc.) and shapes (Flowers and leaves). Plus, she has a superb feature for the person who only needs one or two beads, for example, to make earrings. Black Star sells pairs of certain beads; you can find all her pairs in a single section. My favorites are the brilliant Japanese beads here--the cobalt and the shaping are lovely! (As a lampworker, I have to point out the bead poop in there, too, which is one hallmark of mass-produced glasswork.)

There are beads of all sorts -- aluminum, plastic, Lucite, metal, glass -- and a broad color range. With the choices Black Star gives you you are sure to find something in this wonderful shop.

Introducing the ESST Street Team: Beads4You

This is the next in my series about the wonderful peeps of Team ESST! Here's introducing Beads4You.

Beads4You has got some lovely beads, ranging from wooden beads to tribal-inspired beads. She's also got vintage -- and, just to help, the beading supplies that you're most likely to need! She has cell phone lanyards, and generously shares her knowledge with tutorials. Perhaps her most unusual item in the tool category is her collection of matchbook labels for collage, altered art, scrapbooking, buttons, and the like. There are pearls, glass beads, pendants --- you name it! This is a store you could easily get lost in. And apparently over 1800 (yes, you read that right!) people feel the same way --- all happily.
